Shankar's 'I' Record Price in Krishna

It is known that Producer NV Prasad of Mega Super Good Films acquired the Telugu version rights of Vikram-Shankar's magnum opus 'I' for a record Rs 30 crore. Even the pre-release of this romantic thriller is setting new records.

As per insiders, 'I' Krishna district rights have been sold out for a whooping Rs 2.52 crore. Kavuri Creations, distribution house, has closed the deal for a record sum and this is a sign of enormous craze for the Vikram starrer. NV Prasad is likely to make table profits with 'I' which will be releasing by the end of November.

Notably, 'Robo' which was the biggest hit (dubbing) till date collected just Rs 2.2 crore till date. Even 'Race Gurram' which happens to be the biggest grosser of 2014 didn't even collected a share of Rs 2.52 crore in its full run. Only 6 films have managed to over Rs 2.52 crore in Krishna district.
