Super Star Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest stars in India. However he did not reach this peak easily. Even though his father is a Superstar, he earned his own stardom with his hardwork and dedication. From Superstar son to Superstar himself, he has seen all the crests and troughs in his two-decade-long journey. Today his sensational and inspiring journey completes 21 years.

On this day in 1999, Mahesh was introduced as protagonist in 'Raja Kumarudu'. He started his box office hunting right from his first film. The movie successfully completed its 100 days run in 42 centres with around 11 crore share in it's full run. Mahesh is the first hero to collect double digit share with debut movie.
As the movie completes 21 year today, Mahesh got nostalgic and remembered those memorable moments.
He took to social media to thank director Raghavendra Rao for making his debut a special one.
Mahesh wrote, "21 years and how!! Thank you @Ragavendraraoba for making my first a super special one. The learning that came with the experience is something I'll always cherish. Extremely glad to have known and worked with you and our amazing team #21YearsForRajakumarudu”.
