All of a sudden the OTT platforms are having a purple patch, all thanks to Covid-19. As the theatres are shut down, people are looking over OTT platforms for entertainment. Especially they are getting addicted to web series. Eyeing this, many tollywood celebrities making their path towards this digital media. Some are producing web series, some are directing and some are acting in them. Akkineni Samantha falls in the third category.

We already know that Samantha signed to play an important role in Family Man's season 2, which will be streamed in Amazon Prime Video. The season 1 has received good response from audience and they are eagerly waiting for season 2. To make the hype even bigger they roped in Samantha for a role in season 2. In a recent interview, Priyamani, who is playing the female lead character in the series, shared few things about Samantha's role.

Priyamani said that Samantha is playing the negative role in the series. It is a crucial role and audience will be very impressed with that. It is a surprise package in the season 2.
With this Priyamani teased all Samantha fans, and now they can't wait for the season 2 to get released. However there is still some part of shooting pending and the unit will resume it once the Covid-19 eases a bit.
