Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film 'Master' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films this year. Lokesh Kanagaraj helmed the project. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music.

If not the Covid-19, the movie would have been released by now. As many other films whose release was paused by Covid-19, opting for OTT release, 'Master' too got few deals.
Earlier a leading OTT platform offered whopping 80 crores for 'Master' makers. However they declined the offer as they only want theatrical release.

Now as per close sources, another digital giant has come with mind boggling 100 crores deal. This will be the highest ever price for any film in south India, if accepted. However the response of the team is not known yet, but surely they will wait for theaters to be reopened as Vijay's market range is currently far more than the quoted price.
