Energetic star Ram Pothineni's upcoming film 'Red', the remake of Thadam. It is helmed by Kishore Tirumala and co-produced by Krishna Chaitanya and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies. The film would have been released by now if the corona virus outbreak was not happened.

Recently Natural Star Nani shocked every one by releasing 'V' in Amazon Prime Video. This is the 1st big movie that had a direct OTT release. Therefore rumours aroused that other big/medium budget movies including 'Red' too walking in 'V' path. However these are proved to be wrong.

A digital giant approached the 'Red' team with a decent deal. Even producer Sravanthi Ravikishore too gave nod for it. However Ram said no to this deal. As per reports Ram only wants theatrical release for this movie as he is very confident on this. Ram clearly gave his statement to the makers that he doesn't want direct OTT release.
So as of now there is no OTT release for 'Red'. We have to see how long Ram will hang on.
