Rajinikanth's latest film 'Lingaa' has him romancing two heroines Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha. But, between the two female leads, Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha, sources who saw the rushes of the film, revealed that the focus is more on Sonakshi and she is the one with the better role and more screen time.“The promos of the film, including trailers and two songs that have already been released have received a very good response, but when it comes to the female leads, it is Sonakshi Sinha who dominates Anushka in the film,” says the source. Sonakshi plays a village belle who appears in Rajini’s early life in the period drama. This, on screen, is a flashback. Anushka, meanwhile, plays a modern woman who helps Rajini-kanth connect with his past.
'Lingaa' will be released in three languages Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Music has been composed by AR Rahman. The cast of the film also comprises of Telugu actor Jagapati Babu, Santhanam, Radha Ravi, Vijayakumar and R Sundarrajan in important roles. Directed by KS Ravi Kumar, 'Lingaa' marks Rajinikanth's third film with the filmmaker after 'Muthu' and 'Padayappa'.
