Back to back fines for Ram Gopal Varma!

Ram Gopal Varma never look back when it comes to promoting his films. He even crosses limits in the quest of promotion. He did the same for his latest release 'Power Star'. But now he had to face problems for the same.

Earlier the GHMC’s Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM) penalised director Ram Gopal Varma for putting up posters of his film in a public space. He was fined Rs 2,000 for every poster put up.
A day after that the Central Enforcement Cell (CEC) too gave shock to RGV by imposing a heavy fine. As a part of promotions, RGV set up more than 30 posters of 'Power Star' film across the city. Later it was proved that he did not take permission for any of them. As a result, the CEC imposed a hefty fine of Rs 88,000 on the makers of Power Star.

Before the release, RGV had to face many problems from Pawan Kalyan fans. Even the collections of the movie dropped down on the release day evening itself. Now they had to pay these fines. So overall 'Power Star' turned out to be a unpleasant experience for Ram Gopal Varma.
