Few weeks back rumours aroused that Keerthy Suresh will play the lead actress role. Then came the rumours about the antagonist role. Earlier it was said that Kannada superstar Upendra will lock horns with Mahesh in the movie. However it was proved wrong and then came the name of Arvind Swamy for that role. But recently sources close to the movie team revealed that none of these is true.
The shooting has not started because of Covid-19 and Mahesh gave his decision to the team that he is not going to take any risk at all. So the movie unit will wait for the situation to settle down atleast a bit. This may take many months, so the shooting may start at the end of the year or the beginning of the next year.
Because of this uncertainty, the movie unit has decided not to finalise any actor for any role. This is because, they may have to face the date adjustment problems with actors if they finalise them now. Also they need to pay advances to them which is a tough part on the producers amidst this Covid-19 situation.
So in many ways they thought it is not a good move to finalise the cast now. The movie unit asked the fans not to believe any rumours until they officially announce the details.
