Usually Power Star Pawan Kalyan does not attend his family events, which is well known to all. But a life time event like engagement function of his own brother's daughter should not be missed.

But to everyone's surprise Pawan Kalyan did not show up to Niharika's engagement function that took place on August 13 in a hotel. While the entire ‘mega’ family had turned up, the absence of Pawan Kalyan has became the talk of the town.
Pawan Kalyan has even attended Nithiin's pre wedding celebrations which took place recently. Therefore mega fans are not happy with his decision of skipping Niharika's engagement. However it is heard that there was a strong reason for his absence in the engagement function.

Sources close to the Pawan Kalyan's team revealed that he took up Chathurmasa Deeksha recently. Because of that he could not step out after 6pm as he has to perform some poojas daily. Even he attended Nithiin's pre marriage celebrations at noon time. They even added that he went to Nagababu house and blessed the couple at day time. This news may give a sigh of relief for the mega fans.
