Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on Friday. On Saturday morning last rites were performed by his family members at his farmhouse in Tamaraipakkam, in the outskirts of Chennai. Thalapathy Vijay attended the funeral and gave his condolences to the family.

That great gesture from Vijay led to many discussions. Many people questioned why Thala Ajith did not visit in person as SPB gave more hit songs to Ajith more than Vijay. Even SP Charan too came over this question and he have a strong reply. Charan said that Ajith is a good friend to his father and it does not matter whether he comes in person or not. He also added that it is not at all an issue now. He lost his father and his family needs some time to digest this, therefore he requested media not to bring unnecessary issues over them.
