Energetic star Ram Pothineni's upcoming film 'Red', the remake of Thadam. It is helmed by Kishore Tirumala and co-produced by Krishna Chaitanya and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies. The film would have been released by now if the corona virus outbreak was not happened.
Many OTT platforms approached the 'Red' team with decent deals. Earlier even producer Sravanthi Ravikishore too gave nod for these. However Ram said no to these deals as he wanted theatrical release for this movie as he is very confident on this film.
The latest update from RED is that the digital and satellite rights of the film were sold for whopping 14 crore rupees. Gemini TV bought the rights of the film. RED will hit the theatres in Pongal 2021 season.
