Lady Superstar Anushka shetty has been very cautious in terms of script selection since many years. She is accepting movies only if she has good scope to perform.

She scored full marks for 'Bhaagamathi' and her guest appearance in 'Sye Raa'. However her next movie 'Nishabdam' could not be released because of Covid-19. In the mean time she listened few scripts and is in the process of finalizing them.
Director Gautam Menon is working on the sequel of Kamal Hassan's Vettaiyadu Vilayadu. He has narrated the line to Anushka for the lead actress role. There is no confirmation on her decision yet. However the project is still on script work stage. Let's see how things shape out, if all goes well we can see Anushka beside Kamal Haasan on screen.
